Sports writing is my speciality.
As a freelance sports journalist since 1991, I have written for many national newspapers, including the Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Telegraph, the Guardian, the Sunday Times, the Independent and the Independent on Sunday.
I also write often for espncricinfo.com
The Telegraph titles are my main football client. I write for them several times a week during the season. They trust me to deliver excellent writing that is well researched, sticks to the brief and arrives on time.
In my former life as a staff journalist in the provinces, I wrote – among other things – about horse racing in Doncaster, football in Sheffield and cricket in Leicester.
I can interview, research and supply the words for Promotional Leaflets or Brochures, Magazines or Event Programmes, Coaching Manuals, Reports and Prospectuses, Press Releases, Newsletters or Websites.
Quality sports writing comes from quality sports writers. That’s my area of expertise.
If I can help you with any project with a sporting flavour, contact me on
